What i'd like to know is what about the animal cruelty in Cyprus? It seems that there is not even a tiny fraction of the government that bothers with this issue. I'm sick and tired of reading blogs from English people living here discussing about how we treat our animals - and there is actually a petition going: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/6/animal-cruelty-in-cyprus So here we all are, sigining petitions about Guillermo, and animals in China & Korea etc but what about our situation? Can something be done? And i don't mean signing a petition which nobody will ever bother with, saving a stranded cat or dog or taking it to the shelter. I'm sure everyone in this forum has saved an animal but still there are 100's and 1000's out there which will not be so lucky. At the end of the day, some LAW on this bloody island has to exist that will punish those who mistreat animals.
